Abortion Provider Speaks
(From documentary Blood Money)

Carol Everett, former Planned Parenthood abortion provider and clinic operator, speaks about abortion in the film Blood Money. Pick up the film narrated by Ms. Alveda King, Dr. MLK Jr.'s niece at http://bloodmoneyfilm.com/  (Buy 10 for $35)

Carol Everett is now a forgiven pro-life Christian - She herself, suffered from Post Abortion Syndrome - Pray for her and others like her - In exposing the abortion industry, it takes a lot to admit what she has done .

[Must see - Shocking!]

Carol Everett was married and the mother of two when she decided to have her first abortion in 1973. Soon after, she was divorced and went through a period of personal problems. Despite her original reluctance about abortions, she then started working in a Texan abortion clinic. Shortly thereafter, she took over positions of responsibility in the clinic. In 1983, she became a Christian and stopped working in the abortion clinics. In the meantime, she had herself undergone a total of three abortions. Since then, she has been an active pro-life campaigner, relating her stories of the inner workings of some abortion clinics.

According to her own account, Everett worked with abortion providers because it was a financially lucrative field. In the six years that she worked in clinics, she thought of herself primarily as a saleswoman who sought to maximize profits through various persuasive strategies. She dreamt about becoming a millionaire. As cited in Newsweek, Everett describes abortion as a consumer issue: "Abortion is a skillfully marketed product sold to a woman at a crisis time in her life," she says. "If the product is defective, she can't return it for a refund." Everett also criticizes sex education in schools, because her work with Planned Parenthood and the Texas abortion clinics showed that pregnancy rates rose shortly after she visited schools and gave sex-ed classes there. She claims that the school-based programs were an investment for her, because they soon led to abortions. "The first thing was to get the students to laugh at their parents
, because if they laughed at their parents with me, they would not go home and tell their parents what I told them."
In total she claims to have been involved with 35,000 abortions in four clinics as well as the death of one pregnant woman.

Everett has told her story in several books and videos, but also testified in several court cases and state legislatures. She recounts the sales strategies, the training done with telephone operators, the medical practices among the doctors, and the many interactions with women and girls seeking help. In 1995, she founded The Heidi Group in order to convince pregnant women not to abort their children.

The Lieutenant Governor of Texas, David Dewhurst, called Everett "one of Texas' most committed pro-life advocates" in a statement released in November, 2011.

Psalm 139: 1-16

1 O Lord, you have searched me and you know me.
2 You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.
3 You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways.
4 Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O Lord.

5 You hem me in—behind and before; you have laid your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain.

7 Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence?
8 If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea,
10 even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.

11 If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,”
12 even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you.

13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, 16 your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

Romans 8:1-2
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.

Abortion The Inside Story Part 1

On April 24, 1994, the New York Times reported that Dr. Thomas Tucker, II, had been the subject of two criminal investigations. One involving the death of a patient in Birmingham and the other regarding allegations that he killed a newborn moments after it was born alive. An abortion involving a "live birth" is commonly referred to a "complication". Abortion may be legal, but infanticide is NOT!

His medical license was suspended and that news made national headlines. He was the focus of feature articles in USA Today (7/17/94), The New York Times (4/24/94) and Time Magazine (8/9/93).

He performed 70% of the abortions in Mississippi and also performed abortions at 2 clinics in Alabama.

In 1991, Dr. Tucker performed an abortion on an Alabama mother of 5. He was advised (by his staff) against the abortion, due to the fact that she had a fever, and her hemoglobin levels were low, which could lead to excessive bleeding. He replied, "You know we need the money. Just do it. Just put the patient through."

After the abortion, she had difficulty breathing, her blood pressure dropped, and she bled excessively. Dr. Tucker gave her medications and then deactivated the pulse oximeter and blood pressure monitor alarms which were sounding off. He had her taken to a recovery room that had no equipment for monitoring vital signs, because he needed the room to perform more abortions.

When her condition worsened, a staff member called an ambulance. According to testimony given, Dr. Tucker canceled the ambulance saying "he could not afford to send another patient to UAB because doctors down there would hang him."

She continued to bleed and a staff member told the doctor, "I want you to do something. She is going to lay there and die." He called an ambulance and then left the clinic before the ambulance arrived. The patient was taken to University of Alabama-Birmingham Hospital where she died 3 days later.

Upon learning of the lawsuit against him, Dr. Tucker attempted to destroy the records by setting them on fire, which set off the fire alarms. Fearful of the fire department finding them, he handed them to a staffer with instructions to take them home and destroy them. She kept them for 2 years and then produced them for this suit.

The patient's family was awarded $ 10,000,000 after the court found it "difficult to imagine a case more appropriate for an award of punitive or exemplary damages."

The family of the victim was represented by Theodore H. Amshoff, Jr, of AMSHOFF, DONOVAN, and SMITH, P.C. Mr. Amshoff said, "This award cannot bring this mother back to her family, but it demonstrates the enormous injury sustained by her 5 orphaned children, and sends a clear signal that shoddy and unsafe medical practices will not be tolerated."

Former Abortion Worker: I Held Up Feet to Check the Dead Baby’s Age
http://www.lifenews.com/2012/12/10/former-abortion-worker-i-held-up-feet-to-check-the-dead-babys-age/
by Dina Madsen
LifeNews.com

The following is a testimony from Dina Madsen, a former abortion clinic worker who left her job and has since become a Christian: featured in video above - Abortion The Inside Story

I had to leave my heart at home. I went to work for a Sacramento abortion mill in the first week of September 1990. Before then, the word “abortion” had seldom passed through my mind, and I had no concept of what one actually was. I had lived a “dysfunctional” life and the sacredness of human life was not something I thought of much.

My official title at the mill was “health worker.” I did various duties-lab work, leading groups (deceiving women about their abortions), “advocating” (deceiving women during their abortions), and assisting the abortionist, which included helping during the abortion and checking to make sure all the parts of the baby were there in the collection jar afterwards. I will never forget, in the second-trimester abortions, holding those little feet up to a chart on the wall to make sure of the age of the baby.

Just like everyone else employed there I laughed at the pro-lifers outside the mill and hardened my heart against the truth. If I thought about what was really happening, it became overwhelming. So, I treated the whole issue as a joke-but somewhere along the line God started working on my heart. I started to read literature left by the pro-lifers, and pro-life books. I began to see what I was doing in a whole new light. I saw these babies for what they were-human beings. It was very hard for my heart and head to accept because I had been leaving both my heart and head at home for so long to work there.

I began looking towards God and sometimes visiting church and reading the Bible. I know that the only thing keeping me from accepting Christ into my life was the fact that I was involved in murder-the murder of those made in His image. After working there eight months, I could no longer resist God-He had awakened me to the ugliness of abortion. I knew that in every abortion a living human being is killed, and I believe that a part of the mother is killed too. In May of 1991 I left the mill and believed that I had shut the door on my abortion experience.

After leaving the mill, I accepted the Lord into my heart and my life, and was baptized. After years of searching, I found my true home in the Catholic Church, into which I was fully received on April 2, 1994. I am now married to a kind and loving man and we have two beautiful boys.

It was during my pregnancies that I began to deal with my experience in the mill. I know now that I was experiencing post-abortion syndrome-just as if I’d had an abortion myself, only I felt even worse because I had participated in hundreds of them. God worked on my heart for a long time, showing me His forgiveness, letting me know that I had to forgive myself because He had work for me to do. In early 1994 I finally felt ready to respond to the Lord’s calling. I began to sidewalk counsel, picket, and speak publicly. I know I was doing what the Lord wanted me to do, and I was warned and knew that Satan hates God’s people and their work for Him.

There have been difficult times, with much persecution and attacks from Satan, but I know that the Lord is my protector; His works will prevail! I took a break from my sidewalk counseling to strengthen myself in the Lord-and then He told me it was time to go back. I just am so grateful that He pulled me out of the darkness and into the light. He has shown me how terribly evil abortion is. He has shown me how precious life is. He has shown me that every preborn baby is His child, and that no one has the right to take that life. He has shown me that there is forgiveness and healing in Him. For those who have participated in abortions or had abortions I pray that the pro-death people will have their hearts changed and believe that life is the only “choice.”

My walk with God has not been easy. Life is full of ups and downs, joy and pain. But I know that He is always there beside me. He has blessed me beyond anything I ever imagined, and continues to do so. He can do the same for anyone if He is only asked to.

I think it’s important to pray for those women who are considering abortion and also for those caught up in the evil of the abortion industry, that they will see the truth and be set free. Abortion is not just a “choice,” it is a destructive, life-taking act that will only bring pain and loss to those involved.

Late Term Abortionist George Tiller's
Shocking Abortion Orientation Tape

In June of 2006, Life Dynamics President, Mark Crutcher, unveiled a secret orientation tape created by notorious late term abortionist George Tiller.

In this episode of  Life Talk, he interviews Operation Rescue President, Troy Newman, regarding Tiller's cold and calculating demeanor in the tape. The late abortion doctor admits on camera, that he has performed over 60,000 "terminations of pregnancy" with his expertise in "late term pregnancies."

Throughout the tape, Tiller repeats, "the woman is the patient, the fetus is the problem" in an attempt to rationalize the killing and shifting the blame over to the woman.

TILLER THE BABY KILLER *SHOCKING*

George Tiller is America's most notorious abortionist. Tiller admitted he has performed abortions the day before delivery! He claims that even if a baby is born with a heartbeat, this baby isn't viable. This website takes a revealing look at "Tiller the Killer".

Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius hosted a lavish private party in April 2007 for the Tillers and his staff. The party was hosted at the Governor's Mansion to thank Tiller for the large contributions he's given to her and other Democrat campaigns. The Kansas Paradox (Bleeding Kansas: The Abortion State)

Abortion Clinic Employees -- "Babies born alive daily."

Life Dynamics Inc. a national pro-life organization located in Denton, Texas, has released an interview with three former abortion clinic workers which prove the Pennsylvania abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell, recently convicted of murder, is not an anomaly.

The interview was conducted on May 3, 2013 with clinic employees located in a different state. Though their descriptions are disturbing, the video images are non-graphic.
Mark Crutcher, President of Life Dynamics: "While the pro-life movement claims that abortion takes the life of a living human being, nobody on earth knows that better than the people who work at abortion clinics. The lofty rhetoric of "choice" may insulate those who work in the political and public relations arena, but the day-to-day reality for those who provide those "choices" is to deal with the corpses and parts of corpses they pull out of their customers' bodies. "

Abortion clinic employee, " I thought, well, it's an abortion you know, that's what he does, but I wasn't aware that it was illegal...Most of the time we would see him where the fetus would come completely out and of course, the fetus would still be alive.. "

"He does a lot of huge abortions. A lot of the times, we would bring the big fetus that were over age, we would re-open the bag and just look at it and be like, 'Oh my gosh, it's so big!'"

"Sometimes he couldn't get the fetus out. He would yank pieces -- piece by piece -- when they were oversize. And I'm talking about the whole floor dirty. I'm talking about me drenched in blood."

What we have witnessed in the Gosnell case and here in our video is the nature of the beast.

Child sex abuse scandal occurring inside abortion
and Planned Parenthood facilities
Life Dynamics, in Denton, Texas has documented that mandatory reporting statutes which require healthcare workers to report reasonable suspicions of child sexual abuse to the authorities are being ignored inside American abortion, Planned Parenthood and family planning centers. To address the problem, Life Dynamics, Inc. has contacted over 53,000 personal injury attorneys with this powerful DVD to educate them about the pedophile protection racket being covered up inside these clinics.

The response to the DVD has been tremendous so far.

According to Mark Crutcher, founder of Life Dynamics , "The abortion lobby is engaged in a pedophile protection racket and protecting pedophiles who rape underage girls. These abortion clinics receive money from the federal government. We are literally paying for the rape of our young daughters."

If you are a girl who has been taken to an abortion or Planned Parenthood facility to hide sexual abuse or if you are an attorney interested in this project, contact Life Dynamics here www.LifeDynamics.com

THE INSANITY OF THE GOSNELL BABY-MURDER TRIAL
"THE SHELL OF DENIAL BREAKS: How one high-profile criminal case threatens the entire abortion industry."
Friday, May 10, 2013
By DAVID KUPELIAN - WorldNetDaily
View video above Abortion Clinic Employees -- "Babies born alive daily."

Have you wondered why the jury in the Kermit Gosnell multiple-baby-murder trial in Philadelphia is taking such a long time reaching a verdict?

This may be the real reason why:

For most of us, the death of a child is just about the most tragic event we can imagine.

The Sandy Hook massacre was so overwhelmingly gut-wrenching because the victims were mostly young children. Likewise, news reports about the Boston Marathon bombing emphasize the fact that, of the three people killed, one was an 8-year-old boy - as if to highlight the uniquely great loss of a child.

In the world of crime, one of the most incomprehensible acts is baby-murder. We're outraged at the widespread sex-selective infanticide of newborn girls in China. And recent headlines like "Georgia boys face murder charges after cold-blooded killing of infant being strolled by mother" and "Black teens murder white baby for the fun of it" cause us to shake our heads and wonder, How could anyone possibly sink so low as to kill a baby?

Many murders of babies - in fact almost half, according to the Justice Department's National Criminal Justice Reference Service - occur within the first 24 hours after birth, so-called "neonaticide."

Of course, appalling crimes like these have always have been a part of life in this fallen world - a world of good and evil, of decent and indecent people, where moral outrage is kindled within all good souls by the murder of the innocent.

However, parallel to this moral, rational world exists yet another world - an amoral, irrational one, constructed over several decades with great effort and cleverness. We're talking about the realm of ... well, what shall we call it? Every official label for it - "abortion," "choice," "women's health," "reproductive freedom" - is a euphemism designed to obscure a dark reality.

That reality, stated objectively, would be: the premeditated killing of human babies residing inside their mother.

In this strange parallel world, the same killing of a baby that in the real world outrages us and results in prosecution, prison and possibly execution (or lifetime confinement in a high-security psychiatric lockup for the criminally insane) is mysteriously transformed into a "medical procedure" and "constitutional right," provided for and fiercely defended by a multi-billion-dollar industry. And funded by taxpayers.

These two worlds have collided in the trial of abortionist Kermit Gosnell. And when worlds collide, spectacular and utterly unexpected things sometimes occur.

News organizations get righteous - for a day or 2

As everyone now knows, Gosnell's clinic, despite its dignified-sounding name, "Women's Medical Society," was actually a "house of horrors" more reminiscent of the Nazi doctor Josef Mengele than a legitimate medical practice. Here's how the grand jury summarized Gosnell's operation:

This case is about a doctor who killed babies and endangered women. What we mean is that he regularly and illegally delivered live, viable babies in the third trimester of pregnancy - and then murdered these newborns by severing their spinal cords with scissors. The medical practice by which he carried out this business was a filthy fraud in which he overdosed his patients with dangerous drugs, spread venereal disease among them with infected instruments, perforated their wombs and bowels - and, on at least two occasions, caused their deaths.

The grand jury's report is horrifying not just for what it reveals about Gosnell's crimes, but because it documents that a lot of what is now universally condemned about Gosnell's abortion business was known throughout the Pennsylvania regulatory agencies for years - but no one lifted a finger to stop it.

The sun started to shine on all this when the case went to trial. Eyewitness testimony painted an otherworldly picture of a Nazi-like torture clinic, with one Gosnell employee saying "it would rain fetuses - fetuses and blood all over the place," and another recalling one baby expelled alive into a toilet and observing the infant "was like swimming" and "trying to get out."

For a "mainstream press" overwhelmingly skewed toward "abortion rights," it was stunning (although as it turned out, very short-lived) when top news organizations from the New York Times to the Washington Post suddenly and simultaneously proclaimed their outrage over Gosnell's abortion crimes and the lack of news coverage.

"Infant beheadings. Severed baby feet in jars. A child screaming after it was delivered alive during an abortion procedure," wrote liberal Democrat and Fox News contributor Kirsten Powers in an impassioned and widely read USA Today column. "Haven't heard about these sickening accusations? It's not your fault," she explained:

Since the murder trial of Pennsylvania abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell began March 18, there has been precious little coverage of the case that should be on every news show and front page. The revolting revelations of Gosnell's former staff, who have been testifying to what they witnessed and did during late-term abortions, should shock anyone with a heart.

Likewise, the Atlantic, as "mainstream" and elite as media organizations get, headlined its report decrying lack of national press coverage, "Why Dr. Kermit Gosnell's Trial Should Be a Front-Page Story."

Its dramatic sub-headline summarized the whole sordid tale: "The dead babies. The exploited women. The racism. The numerous governmental failures. It is thoroughly newsworthy."

That's great. But there's just one snag in this temporary journalistic outrage (few media outlets followed through by sending a reporter to the trial) over Gosnell's abortion crimes: Virtually everything Kermit Gosnell was accused of doing occurs routinely in other abortion clinics throughout America.

Everything. Routinely.

"The dead babies," intoned the Atlantic's headline. Yes, the dead babies - about 55,000,000 of them so far since Roe v. Wade, including hundreds of thousands of late-term abortions just like those babies "murdered" by Gosnell and his employees.

"The exploited women." Sorry, but exploiting women - scaring and pressuring them, pretending to care about them so they'll buy the abortion, withholding life-and-death medical information about both the unborn child's development and the serious adverse physical and psychological consequences for the mother, and lying to them from start to finish - is the central operating principle of the abortion industry. Without it - if women were counseled with absolute honesty, candor and full disclosure - the number of abortions would plunge overnight. And that's just the beginning: Abortionists' routine exploitation of women when the "procedure" goes awry - as it often does - has resulted in death for many and permanent injury, trauma, sterility and soul-scarring heartache for countless more.

"The racism." The left-leaning press, which somehow is more offended by racism than almost anything else in this life, complains about Gosnell's "racist" double standard in treating poor minority women worse than he treated rich white women from the suburbs. Major reality check: The abortion industry is one of the most racist enterprises in the Western world. Margaret Sanger, founder of the nation's No. 1 abortion provider, Planned Parenthood, was an unapologetic racist and eugenics proponent who openly advocated for preventing blacks and other "inferior races" from breeding, and famously wrote: "The most merciful thing that a large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it."

To this day, U.S. abortion clinics are set up predominately in areas with a disproportionately high black population, a fact documented repeatedly over the years. For example, when CNS News compared the location of Planned Parenthood abortion clinics with Census population statistics, it found:

In nearly two-thirds (62.5 percent) of the comparisons, the communities with a Planned Parenthood abortion clinic had a higher percentage of blacks than the state did as a whole. In Delaware, Florida, Massachusetts and Ohio, the communities containing all of the Planned Parenthood abortion clinics had much higher black populations than their respective states, while Idaho, Kentucky, North Dakota, Utah, West Virginia and Wyoming - all of which have low black populations - have none of the organization's abortion facilities.

"The numerous governmental failures." Seriously? It's not just the "failures" of the Pennsylvania regulatory authorities. Government at all levels, but especially at the federal level, for decades has overtly supported, enabled and protected the abortion industry in myriad ways ranging from providing taxpayer support to enacting laws prohibiting prolife demonstrators from congregating anywhere near abortion clinics (legislation widely regarded as violating the First Amendment's right to assemble).

'Why is everyone upset over Gosnell?'

"So," asks Mark Crutcher, founder and president of the Denton, Texas-based pro-life organization Life Dynamics, "why is everyone so upset over Kermit Gosnell?"

Along with other prolife activist groups like Troy Newman's Operation Rescue and Lila Rose's Live Action, Life Dynamics has long specialized in exposing criminal abortionists.

"For years," Crutcher told me recently, "we've exposed one criminal abortionist after the other. But abortion proponents always say the offender is just a 'bad apple' and an 'aberration.' But when we expose hundreds of similar offenders, every one of them is still just a 'bad apple' in a barrel of good apples. At what point do we realize they're all bad apples?"

One chapter of Crutcher's book, "Lime 5: Exploited by Choice," details three dozen cases (and references many more) of abortionists who raped or otherwise sexually molested their "patients." One of the abortion doctors, called a "predator in a white coat" by California's deputy attorney general, was accused of sexually assaulting more than 160 women. The crime scene

The collision of these two warring worlds in the Gosnell case - the one world where killing a baby is a capital crime, and the other where killing the same baby is a "woman's fundamental right" - forces us to confront an all-important question: Where did the killing occur?

Understand, the babies Gosnell "murdered" were no older, larger, more viable, more human or more precious than other late-term babies aborted routinely over the past 40 years. It's just that Gosnell pulled them out of their mother before he killed them. Had he done exactly the same horrendous things (like "snipping" infants' spinal cords) while the baby was still inside the mother, many who today express horror would have regarded "the procedure" as just another late-term abortion that mother and doctor determined to be in her best interest.

How is this possible? Aside from legal restrictions imposed (but routinely ignored) by a few states, abortion in America under Roe v. Wade is legal from the moment of conception until the moment of birth if the mother's life or health is determined to be endangered. And "health" - here's the giant loophole - is broadly interpreted to include both physical and mental health, which means an abortionist could sign the authorization form claiming the mother risked becoming, let's say, "depressed" if denied the "procedure" or "therapy."

To her credit, Powers courageously confronted this now-institutionalized mass delusion: "Regardless of such quibbles, about whether Gosnell was killing the infants one second after they left the womb instead of partially inside or completely inside the womb - as in a routine late-term abortion - is merely a matter of geography. That one is murder and the other is a legal procedure is morally irreconcilable."

The existence of these two competing worlds, one based on self-evident truth and the other on monumental selfishness and denial, is easy to explain: The deception-based world of abortion is rooted in our devotion to what has become a near-sacred belief - total sexual freedom. We have determined as a modern, secular, post-Christian society that we have the absolute right to engage in sexual relations with whomever we want and whenever and wherever we want, and we repudiate the notion that we have to take responsibility for the natural result of sex - which is children. Having committed so deeply to this proposition, it matters not how barbaric and inhuman abortion is, how many gorgeous children we see with their throats cut, heads cut off, chemically burned alive, brains sucked off, or spinal cord "snipped" with scissors. We must allow for abortion on demand or our sacred right to sexual freedom ceases to exist.

This is why, as an Illinois state senator, Barack Obama opposed the "Born Alive Infant Protection Act," designed to prevent precisely the types of crimes committed by Kermit Gosnell. If you acknowledge that what's at stake is a baby, the entire abortion delusion unravels.

The magic line

In the deluded fantasy world of "reproductive freedom," we say, "Think you may be pregnant? Just take the morning-after pill." A few weeks later, "Just take RU486," or "Just have a suction abortion. It's not a baby." With each passing week of gestation, however, it becomes increasingly more difficult to sustain the delusion.

Fast forward just a few weeks or months, and now - at the point of natural birth - anyone killing the same baby is, like Gosnell, regarded as a child-murderer and prosecuted as a depraved criminal.

In an attempt to reconcile these two opposing worlds, we endlessly draw magic lines - arbitrary points before which killing babies is a revered constitutional right, and after which it's a monstrous crime.

We create lots of these artificial lines - from "first trimester," "second trimester" and "third trimester" to "heartbeat," "20 weeks" and "viability."

Of course, trumping all these magic lines is an even more arbitrary and irrational measure of infant humanity - namely, whether or not the parents want the child! One child has inestimable value backed by the legal protection of the state solely because the parents want and love it, while another child of identical attributes and age, but whose parents don't want it, is considered worthless medical waste.

Is this not a form of madness?

In reality, of course, life in the womb is a wondrous continuum of growth from the moment of fertilization to the moment of birth. There is no "line" before which or after which abortion is OK.

As the Gosnell trial has proven, these two warring worlds - the world of love and life versus the world of selfishness and death - inevitably collide somewhere along this continuum. After all, putting aside Gosnell's unsanitary clinic conditions, "racism" and other unseemly atmospherics, the only major difference between this and other abortionists was that his killing was visible - outside the mother where others could see it.

Do we really think Gosnell's "snipping" of infant spinal cords is somehow worse than the untold numbers of other late-term abortions in today's America? Is "snipping" more inhumane than forcibly ripping apart human babies limb from limb, or injecting Digoxin into their heart to make them have a fatal heart attack, or chemically burning them to death with intrauterine saline and other lethal chemicals, or- as in the recently outlawed intact dilation and extraction ("partial birth abortion" ) procedure, pulling the living baby feet-first out of the womb and into the birth canal, except for the head, stabbing the base of the baby's skull with surgical scissors, inserting a tube into the wound, sucking out the baby's brain with a suction machine (causing the skull to collapse) and delivering a now-dead baby?

How on earth can we possibly have the gall to express horror at Gosnell's abortions, but not toward the other equally abominable but legally sanctioned killings that have scarred our nation for four decades?

Maybe the Gosnell trial is just a convenient catharsis for "pro-choice" Americans - including the "mainstream media" - an opportunity to safely express their revulsion at this "bad" abortionist's crimes without fear that it will negatively impact all those "good" abortion practices they imagine are out there?

Today's Americans often wonder at how earlier generations could have thought slavery was OK. We say, How could they not know blacks were fully human?

Do we think we are even slightly less blind, less deluded, less steeped in denial than our slaveholding ancestors? Remember, we're talking about 55,000,000 dead American children - more deaths every single day than the total number of people killed in the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks.

Abortion has always been a cosmic collision waiting to happen. In the same society where we are rightly outraged at child murder, we embrace child murder.

Meanwhile, millions of prolife Americans, like the biblical Israelites under Moses' watch, have been marching for 40 years (since the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision) in the desert of societal madness, often it seems going in circles, vainly hoping that one day they will finally arrive, through some miracle, at the promised land of restored morality and reverence for life.

Perhaps the Gosnell case is serving a great purpose - of pricking and prodding the sleeping conscience of Americans, of awakening many to the horrors that they, like the clueless German populace during WWII, too long enabled by looking the other way.

By the way, in case you wondered whatever became of Josef Mengele, the notorious Auschwitz concentration-camp doctor known for the agonizing and often-lethal "medical experiments" he performed on Jews, including countless children - here's the rest of the story:

Like several other Nazi war criminals, Mengele found safe haven in South America [ and the United States and Canada] , where he evaded Nazi-hunters for the rest of his life. Settling in Argentina, he practiced medicine in Buenos Aires for several years in the 1950s.

His specialty? As the New York Times reported decades later, long-secret Argentine government archives released to the public for the first time in 1992 revealed that Mengele "had a reputation as a specialist in abortions."
